The following information relates to the pictures below, and is all courtesy of Rene_G7400 on the videopac forum:
The normal PCB's for 2k, 4k or 8k games contain only one ROM chip, no additional electronic components. Even between those PCB's there are small differences: Odyssey2 PCB's have a green backside, while Videopac PCB's have a brown backside. Older PCB's have metal shields at both sides of the ROM, newer PCB's don't. Imagic (4k) and Parker (8k) PCB's look different too (but the connections are the same as Philips carts). The PCB of Videopac 48 is a little bit different, as it contains an (OTP) Eprom instead of a ROM chip.
- SID the Spellbinder has a SPR-128-004 speech ROM and 4k ROM
- Videopac 31 and 40 have a 74LS00 (quad 2-input NAND) and 4k ROM
- Videopac 55, 58, 59 and 60 have: 74LS32 (quad 2-input OR), 74LS04 (hex inverter), 74LS374 (8-bit latch) and 2 ROMs (4k + 8k for Videopac 55 and 58, 2x 8k for Videopac 59 and 60)
