The early videopacs came in a cardboard box (now generally referred to as a paperbox), and after the very early shiny ones came the matt version, which contained a cartridge that had a matt label with the words "FABRIQUE EN FRANCE ". Only the first 26 videopacs came in this format, and numbers 2 and 17 appear to have been left out. The cartridges can be spotted at a distance, as the downward pointing arrow at the bottom of the cartridge label was now white.
