THE SUPERSTIJL COLLECTION. I was contacted in May 2008 by someone in The Netherlands who had a collection to sell that had belonged to their father and been in storage for a number of years. To cut a longer story short, his father wrote videogame review book(s) back in the 80's and as a result was given many videopacs FOC and even a couple of prototypes.

The Superstijl Collection was listed on Marktplattz in May 2008 and consisted of nearly every standard game, all Parker games, rare 57 58 & 59, box sets including a still sealed 46 TGWSFH, two Imagics, a game review book, a prototype Norseman and a prototype listed as 'unknown' GST as the sticker had fallen off.

I wont go into the details about GST here, but it was enough of an interesting collecion that Marktplattz ended up being the victim of a number of flaudulent bids which resulted in a deal being arranged elsewhere, in this case privately with videopac.com.

The console was ommitted from the deal due to postage costs, and was offered to charity.

The seller unexpectedly and generously included a copy of his fathers book, as the bottom right of the cover shows this was not just for videopacs:

I amalgamated this collection into my own, as always if items were better than my existing then my old one was put into the 'for sale' pile. I can say that the vast majority of this collection was kept as they were in absolutely top condition. I would guess that the majority of the videopacs were played once, perhaps without even opening the manual, and that they were then put back in the box and not long after went into storage.
