At least with the German (41 & 42), French (42) & Dutch (42) versions, there are two box styles (it seems likely this will apply to all language versions):
- a shiny version with shiny coloured topcover and shiny black bottomcover
- a matt version with matt coloured topcover and white bottomcover
It seems likely that all other variations (shiny top, white bottom or matt top and shiny black bottom) are not the original sold versions but got mixed up at some point in time. It appears the shiny ones where first as they look more expensive, and so the price would have been dropped and the "cheap" version then sold.
